Horringer is an attractive village situated 2½ miles southwest of Bury St Edmunds on the A143. Dominating the village Green is the 14th century church of St Leonard (the patron saint of prisoners).

Ickworth Park Primary School PTA 's Summer Fayre
Happening this Friday 27th June between 6 and 8pm.
There will be a barbecue, lots of activities for kids, shopping opportunities for the adults (e.g.jewellery, make up, books, plants) a fire engine for the big boys and it's all for a good cause!

Real Lives: Ickworth Past and Present Project
A very successful Horringer-cum-Ickworth Annual Parish Meeting was held at the West Wing, Ickworth House, on Wednesday 9 April, after which attenders were given a tour of the basement area of Ickworth House, where the Real Lives: Ickworth Past & Present project is being planned. If Horringer residents were not able to attend the Parish Meeting, there will be a second opportunity to find out about this project on Wednesday 2 July - meet at the West Wing at 2pm for a tour. And Karen Chancellor, NT Learning & Interpretation Officer, would especially like to hear from anyone who could help, or who has first (or second) hand knowledge of what it was like to live and work at Ickworth.
