Background
The first website came about as a result of a decision of the Community Council to set up a website for Horringer, the aim of which was to promote Horringer village and its facilities, and to afford the opportunity for people from near and far to find out about Horringer and what keeps us all so busy and active.
Management
The work of designing and constructing the website fell to Ian Macdonald, and it was launched as the new Millennium arrived, on 1 January 2000.
In 2006, the website passed to a new team, Liz and Clare, but the aim remains the same: to maintain an up to date picture of our village. So we would ask everyone who has an interest in any of the village organisations to make sure the webmaster is notified of any changes.
The Future
We want to keep the website up to date, and to develop new perspectives, so any information or comments would be very welcome.
