Children are eligible to attend this group from the beginning of the term before their third birthday, subject to availability. We are registered with Ofsted to provide places for 16 children of which a maximum of 4 can be under 3 years old.
The curriculum offered at each session is planned to provide a balance between free play and more formal learning opportunities with particular emphasis on the development of personal, social, mathematical and language skills.

Ickworth Park Acorns

This is the rising fives group of Ickworth Park Primary School, open to all families who intend their child to attend the school. We have an established link with Class 1a; and their teacher and meet for both formal and informal learning activities, including music and language and literacy. We accept children in the term following their fourth birthday, normally two terms before beginning full-time education. At this stage, children are eligible to attend both groups.
