Situated in the centre of the village, by the main A143, the Six Bells Pub is the village local, serving a well kept range of Green King ales. A 17th century building of charm and character carrying the spirit of community atmosphere with a good balance of both local characters and visitors to the village. A new menu is now available containing some of the favourite dishes people have come to love, including homemade pies and curries plus a good range of dishes to satisfy the vegetarian. A two course Sunday lunch is served in two sittings as well as regular BBQs through the summer with a 'Petanque' terrain open to everyone.
The pub generates a warm welcome for everyone, with real log fires in the winter, a dining area where children are welcome and a conservatory that is used for non-smokers.
Car parking in the front and rear has spaces for approximately twenty vehicles. Access into the pub for wheelchairs is never a problem and guide dogs also are welcome.
